PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!
Well, I am ready for some warmth and sunshine . . . . how about you? Our last directed draw is going to be caterpillar. My daughter is a kindergarten teacher too and her classil studying the life cycle of a butterfly. She is raising butterflies to set free in a short time. She started with some tiny little caterpillars and now they are getting fat! I want you to do this caterpillar directed draw and write about it from the word bank. I hope you enjoy this activity!
Well, today is supposed to be a warmer day so maybe you can go outside and explore a little! While you are exploring maybe you will find a grasshopper or butterfly or bee. In the meantime, I would like for you to do this directed draw for a grasshopper. Use the word bank given for writing about your grasshopper! Enjoy!
Have you seen any butterflies yet? I have not but I can't wait till I do. They are so amazing and beautiful. Maybe as warmer days arrive we will see them! Today our directed draw is a butterfly! Write using words from the word bank about butterflies. Have fun!
Hello spring! Spring brings with it all sorts of wonderful living things! Flowers, trees, bugs and butterflies! Today we are starting a new directed draw series on insects. We are going to start with a bee. I have already seen bees out and about flying from flower to flower. Let's draw a bee and write about it! Have fun!
I hope you had fun with the last scavenger hunt because we have another one today to help you with rhyming! Maybe you can think of other rhyming words as well! Have fun!
REMINDER: Don't forget about those Jack Hartmann videos!
When you need a good teaching tool and a break just go to you tube channel to watch ... Jack Hartmann. He is a really great teacher who sings to help us learn basic skills. He does all kinds of music videos that make movements across the midline of your body. Brain research shows that the more you move across the midline of your body you are growing your brain. As your brain develops then it aids you in your reading, writing, drawing and cutting.
We watch a lot of Jack Hartmann videos for a brain break and the videos helps get the wiggles out, as well as, learn the skills! Just click below:

How about another scavenger hunt? Today we are going to enjoy spring and do a spring scavenger hunt! Have fun!
Just a reminder: Under the Weekly Focus link you will find your music lesson for the week! Go there to see what Mrs. Pruitt has in store for you to learn about music! I have gotten some cool pictures of some lessons completed for her! Keep up the good work!
Practice your reading using this worksheet. Read it several times to become fluent with your reading. Practice! Practice! Practice! It helps us get better and better!
Good for a rainy or indoors day! Let's do an alphabet scavenger hunt! See if you can find something for each letter of the alphabet! How fast can you be? Have fun!
Welcome back Little Farmers! Today is our last day to do a directed farm animal draw and writing! Since all of our animals were lost earlier this week, I think the horse was the one farm animal that was left. Have you ever ridden a horse or do you have a horse? Today I need you to draw a horse and write about it from the word bank. Have fun!
Rise and shine Little Farmers! Today we are going to do a directed draw for a sheep. My daughter showed sheep one year whens he was in 4-H. She likes them because they are soft and lovable. After you do the directed draw then write about a sheep using the word bank. Enjoy!
